Lifestyle Family Session
Lifestyle Family Sessions are designed to capture genuine connection and natural interaction. These sessions are unhurried and calm, allowing children to be themselves and families to simply enjoy being together.

Perfect for families, toddlers, siblings and milestone stages (6–12 months and beyond). This session is designed for immediate family (parents and children living in the same household).

This experience is ideal for extended families, r families with young children who would like more time to warm up.

Maternity Session

Maternity sessions can include your partner and children living in the same household, allowing space to document this chapter of your family together.

Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home or a hired studio and are completely baby-led. I work around feeds, cuddles and rest, creating space for calm, connection and those tiny early details.

Cake Smash / First Birthday Session
First birthday sessions are short, fun and relaxed, designed to celebrate your little one just as they are. These sessions focus on personality, curiosity and natural reactions — not forced smiles.
This session is intentionally shorter to suit little ones and keep the experience light and enjoyable.

• Short cake smash or first birthday session (approximately 15–20 minutes)

• If you’re expecting and would love to capture this season with your partner and children, a Maternity Session is the perfect fit.
• If your baby is under six weeks and you’d like a calm, baby-led experience at home, choose an In-Home Newborn Session.
• If your baby is older than three months, or you’re simply wanting to capture your family together, a Lifestyle Family Session is usually the best choice.
• If you’re celebrating a first birthday and mainly want photos of your little one (with cake included), a Cake Smash / First Birthday Session is ideal.
• If you’d love extra time, extended family included, or want to keep every image from your session, the Signature Lifestyle Family Session offers the most complete experience.

What should we wear for our session?
I recommend coordinating in soft, neutral or earthy tones rather than matching exactly. Simple outfits without large logos or bold patterns photograph beautifully and keep the focus on connection. Comfort is key — choose pieces that allow you and your children to move, cuddle and play naturally.

How long does it take to get our photos?
Your fully edited gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks of your session. If you’d like your images sooner, a Rush Edit option is available, providing a priority turnaround.
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes — I’m based in Canberra and photograph sessions across Canberra, Queanbeyan and Googong. Travel within these areas is included.
For locations outside this region, a travel fee may apply and will always be discussed prior to booking.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes — custom albums, fine art prints, and framed artwork are available to order directly through your online gallery. Albums are especially popular for newborn and family sessions, and make beautiful keepsakes or gifts for grandparents. These pieces allow you to enjoy your images beyond the screen for years to come.
Do you help with posing?
Yes — I’ll gently guide you where needed so you feel comfortable and relaxed, while still keeping everything natural and unforced.
Can partners and children be included?
Maternity and Lifestyle Family Sessions can include your partner and children living in the same household. Extended family sessions are best suited to the Signature Lifestyle Family Session.
What if my children don’t cooperate?
That’s completely okay. My sessions are unhurried and child-led, allowing space for kids to warm up and be themselves — often those in-between moments become the most meaningful images.
Do you provide outfits?
I don’t provide a client wardrobe, but I share simple styling guidance to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel like you.
How many images will we receive?
Each session includes 15 of your favourite images, with the option to upgrade your full gallery if you’d love to keep more (most families do).
Can I receive my photos sooner?
Yes. A Rush Edit is available for $200, providing a priority turnaround (typically within three business days) instead of the standard 2–4 weeks.
Can I keep my photos private?
Absolutely. Your privacy is always respected. If you’d prefer your images not be shared on my website, social media, or marketing, a Privacy Upgrade of $160 is available. This upgrade is charged once and can be selected at the time of booking.
Can we purchase more images after our session?
Absolutely. Additional images can be purchased for $15 per image, or you may choose to upgrade to the full gallery for $249 once you’ve viewed your images.
Can we book a studio session?
Yes — studio hire is available from $65 per session, depending on the space. Most studios allow up to 6 people.
Can we include family photos in a cake smash session?
Cake Smash / First Birthday Sessions are primarily focused on your little one. If you’d love a full set of family images as well, a Lifestyle Family Session or Signature Lifestyle Family Session is the best fit.
